It looks like the Saskatchewan Roughriders have found the coach that will replace Kelly Jeffrey as the team’s running backs coach.
According to Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette, Andre Bolduc is set to join the Roughriders coaching staff as the team’s next running backs coach.

Bolduc has spent the last eight seasons coaching with the Alouettes. He has held several titles with the teams from assistant offensive coordinator, to receiver coach, as well as special teams assistant coach. Bolduc was one of the five candidates who interviewed for the Alouettes head coaching position this offseason. Former Roughriders offensive coordinator Jason Maas was hired to be the Alouettes new head coach on Saturday.
Like Jeffrey, Bolduc has spent time coaching in the Canadian University ranks. He was an offensive coordinator for Montreal Carabins in 2022 and would become the head coach for Sherbrooke Vert et Or in 2007 where he led the team to a 24-18 record over five seasons.
The native of Alma, Quebec spent time with Ottawa, Edmonton and Montreal as a player from 1996-2001.
When Roughriders promoted Jeffrey to offensive coordinator, Head Coach, Craig Dickenson said the team was still in the process of hiring a running backs coach to replace Jeffrey, but were also looking to find a new receivers coach. Former coach Travis Moore was not retained by the Roughriders coaching staff following the 2022 season.
