Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mostly moving upward during the past week.

The latest numbers from the Saskatchewan ministry of Agriculture says average feeder steer prices ranged from 323 dollars 88 cents per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 229 dollars 25 cents for the 800 to 900 pound weight category.

Feeder heifers ranged from 249 dollars 10 cents per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 199 dollars for the over 800 pound weight category.

Feeder cattle volumes from Canfax were pegged at 13,134 head for the week, down from 18,567 head the previous week.
