It was a successful December for Pats forward Alexander Suzdalev as he was named the WHL’s Rookie of the Month.

The Washington Capitals prospect racked up (6G- 11A)  17 points throughout the month.

So far this season, Suzdalev leads all WHL rookies with 21 goals and 47 points from 35 games played this season; his 12 power-play goals and 24 power-play points are also first among first-year WHL players.

The Pats along with Suzdalev are back in action tonight when they visit the Brandon Wheat Kings.
