The Regina Pats will be getting their captain back on Sunday.
Connor Bedard is scheduled to return to the Pats lineup when they host the Calgary Hitmen. Bedard is coming off a successful World Juniors in Halifax. The North Vancouver product established a new record for points (23) by a Canadian player at the tournament.
The 17-year old will be looking to resume his 27-game point streak in the matinee affair. Despite missing the last Pats 11 games, Bedard sits on top of the WHL’s top spot in the overall points ranking with 64 (27 G-27A) .
Regina will be looking to pick up their first win of 2023 against Calgary.
