Pats acquire Quiring from Everett

On Tuesday, just before the end of the Western Hockey League (WHL) trading deadline the Regina Pats made a move.

The Pats acquired 2003-born forward Steel Quiring from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for 2026 fourth round pick.

This year, Quiring has collected seven points (3G-4) in 32 games split between the Everett Silvertips and the Calgary Hitmen. Last season the Vernon B.C. product spent time with the Hitmen and the Kelowna Rockets. He had 25 points (12G-13A) in 59 games.

Regina returns to action on Friday when they host the Saskatoon Blades at the Brandt Centre.
