A 22 year old from Regina is facing weapons charges after an incident in a restaurant on Victoria Avenue.

Just before 5 yesterday, police were alerted about a person in a restaurant, that was refusing to leave.

When police arrived they found a man sleeping at a table, with what appeared to be a shotgun in his backpack.

Maddison Michael Blueeyes of Regina is facing several weapons related charges.

He is making his first court appearance in Regina this morning.
