A 22-year-old Regina man faces charges after a weapons incident on the 800 block of Edgar Street on Monday.
Multiple people phoned police yesterday morning in that block with reports of what sounded like gunshots.
Police locked down that block and through investigation, narrowed it down to a single residence.
Police spoke to people inside that residence, locating a firearm and ammunition.
22-year-old Braden James Moneybird was charged with discharging a weapon into or at a place in a reckless manner and four counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
Moneybird made his first court appearance Tuesday morning.
