Sask Agriculture minister leads trade mission to parts of Asia in mid-February

Agriculture minister David Marit leads a trade mission to parts of Asia in mid-February.

Marit will be in India and Dubai, United Arab Emirates to promote ongoing farm exports.

He says the two countries are important markets for Saskatchewan.

Marit will be in India to discuss pulse crop and canola exports.

He’ll be involved in a major pulse crop trade conference in India.

Marit says he also will meet in Dubai with key processors of Saskatchewan grown canola, peas and lentils.

Marit leaves on his trade mission to India and United Arab Emirates on February 13th.
