A 26-year-old man from Regina was arrested on January 26 for a robbery last November.

At roughly 2:30 a.m. on November 27, 2022, Regina Police responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a restaurant on the 1100 block of Kramer Boulevard.

The man entered the restaurant with his face covered and produced a firearm and demanded money.

The man left the restaurant with no money before the police arrived.

The investigation of the incident led to 26-year-old Darian Tracey Miles Bird.

A search warrant was executed at Bird’s residence on January 26.

Bird was then arrested and charged for the robbery offense as well as additional warrants.

His official charges are robbery and use of imitation firearm during commission of an indictable offence.

Bird makes his first court appearance on these charges today at 2 p.m.
