On Saturday night, a man was arrested for weapons charges after waving a knife around at a taxi driver.
Just before 10 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 14th Avenue and Robinson street after getting a report that a man was standing outside of a taxi waving a knife around after the taxi had dropped him off.
Once police arrived, the man was found and arrested without incident.
28-year-old Kolton Barr of Strasbourg is charged with Fraudulently Obtaining Transportation, Assault With A Weapon, Possession Of A Weapon, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
Barr will make his first court appearance on these charges tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m.
