In 2022, Leonard only registered three sacks with the Roughriders, after a career season in 2021 when he recorded eleven sacks over eleven games.
During his career, the 31-year-old had picked up 39 sacks. He also spent time with the BC Lions and the Ottawa REDBLACKS.
