A new blood donation centre has opened in Regina.

Canadian Blood Services celebrated the grand opening of the city’s new donor clinic yesterday.

The new site features a modernized floor plan designed to offer the best possible donor experience and an improved work environment for donor centre employees.

The Canadian Blood Services continues to stress that your donations matter.

They say in a media release, “Every donation causes a ripple effect that goes on to help people be there for their families, give back to their communities, and improve the lives of others. Canadian Blood Services encourages area residents to help save a life and change so many more by donating blood.”

The new centre is located at 4180 Albert Street.

It’s open on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m.
