Premier Scott Moe and Energy and Resources minister Jim Reiter lead a trade and investment mission to Texas Wednesday and Thursday.
The delegation will meet with key U.S. investors and promote opportunities in Saskatchewan’s natural resources.
In Houston, the delegation will participate in an Investment forum featuring Saskatchewan.
The Forum will include discussions for investors to learn about Saskatchewan’s strengths in oil and gas, carbon capture and storage, helium and other critical minerals, and value-added agriculture production.
The event will also enable Saskatchewan-based companies to establish working partnerships with U.S. industry leaders.
The mission will reinforce Saskatchewan as one of the best places to do business.
Year to date Saskatchewan merchandise exports to the U.S. are up more than 9 billion dollars or 52 percent from January to November of 2022, compared to a year earlier.
