The 69th edition of LIT (Luther Invitational Tournament) got underway on Thursday.

On the boys side, Regina Riffel defeated Winnipeg Sisler to advance to a Friday night semi-final matchup against Magrath at 8:00.

The other semi-final will see Walter Murray from Saskatoon against Raymond.

Miller was defeated by Raymond on Thursday, they will meet Harry Ainlay of Edmonton today.

Luther will meet Sisler of Winnipeg at 5:30, after they were defeated by Magrath yesterday.

In girls action yesterday, there will be an all-Regina matchup today between Luther and Riffel this afternoon 3:30. Luther was defeated by Dakota of Winnipeg and Riffel was beaten by Magrath.

Winston Knoll was defeated by Raymond yesterday and they will meet Holy Cross today at 2:00.

The finals for both tournaments go on Saturday night.
