Have a Heart Night with the Regina Pats and Western Pizza returns

After a three-year hiatus, the Regina Pats’ Have a Heart Night is returning to a Western Pizza near you for the event’s 25th anniversary.

The Pats have partnered with Western Pizza for the event on Monday, February 13.

“Players will be in various Western Pizza locations around the city from six to eight p.m. where they’ll help serve customers in restaurants and some may go out and do deliveries as well,” says Gord Pritchard, CEO of the Pats.

This is a full-team event. Pritchard says it’s a fantastic opportunity for the team to work and meet with the community.

“Believe it or not, none of our current players have had a chance to take part in this great event because of COVID, so it will be a great opportunity for them to participate in this community initiative. And of course, the Heart and Stroke Foundation is a great cause to support,” says Pritchard.

All of the money made through delivery fees and tips will be donated to the Heart Stroke Foundation.

“Over the 25 years through proceeds of tips and fees of that evening raised just over $62,000 so far,” says Pritchard.

We are so excited to partner up once again with the Regina Pats on this initiative,” said Spiro Bonis, owner of Western Pizza.

“Not only are we raising money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, but we’re giving the fans an opportunity to meet the players in person! Nothing beats the smile on a kid’s face when they get to meet one of the players!”
