It’s official, Cody Fajardo is now a member of the Montreal Alouettes.
The quarterback signed a two-year deal with the team.
Despite news about the league taking over ownership earlier in the day, the Alouettes were the first team to make a free agent announcement on Tuesday, as they unveiled their new quarterback with a twitter post.

Fajardo spent the last three seasons with Saskatchewan after he assumed the starter’s role in 2019.
Last year, the quarterback started 15 games with the Roughriders after leading them to a pair of appearances in the Western Final.
