Riders sign Global DL Valentin Gnahoua

 

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have agreed to terms with defensive lineman Valentin Gnahoua.

Hamilton selected Gnahoua with the first overall selection of the 2019 CFL European Draft. He spent three seasons with the Tiger-Cats where he saw action in 38 games, recording one defensive tackle, 11 special teams tackles, one forced fumble, and one blocked punt.

Before joining the CFL, the France native spent two seasons in the German Football League with the Berlin Rebels.

Gnahoua spent one season with McGill University in 2016.
