Moose Jaw’s Winterfest is set to take over Wakamow Valley

Moose Jaw is chasing away the winter blues with its Winterfest.

The festival will take place at the Kiwanis Pavillion in Wakamow Valley from 1 to 4 p.m today.

“We have lots of activities planned,” says General Manager Donna MacQuarrie-Bye.

“It’s going to be bigger and better than the past years due to COVID. Hopefully, the event will go off really smoothly. Hopefully, Mother Nature will co-operate with us.”

People will get to enjoy wagon rides, vendors, games, skating, snowshoeing, snowman building, and much more.

The event is also free to attend.
