Moose Jaw seeking input for master plan for trails and pathways

The city of Moose Jaw has many kilometres of walking trails in the city and surrounding area.

Now the city’s Parks and Recreation department is inviting residents to take part in the city’s trails and pathways master plan survey.

Derek Blais, director of parks and rec for the city of Moose Jaw, said the goal is to create a long-term strategy to enhance the city’s pathways systems.

The development of the City’s trail network is dependent on several systems working in harmony and a dedicated plan is required to ensure our trails and pathway systems are fully interconnected while accommodating a wide range of uses,” said Blais in a media release.

Moose Jaw is partnering with E. Lees and Associates for the creation of the master plan.

The survey can be found here.
