Saskatoon product Brett Boyko has signed with the XFL’s Orlando Guardians.

The offensive lineman spent the 2021 season with Saskatchewan Roughriders and appeared in eight games with the green and white.

Boyko played in 15 games with the BC Lions in 2019. He spent time on the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers roster from 2016-2018.

The 30-year-old was originally selected by the Lions in the second round of the 2015 CFL Draft but would go on to sign a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent.
