Pats Lose 7-0 in Medicine Hat

The Regina Pats were shut out for only the third time this season, and the first time with both Connor Bedard and Stanislav Svozil in the line-up.

The Pats managed only 17 shots on goal in 7-0 loss at the hands of the Medicine Hat Tigers, in “the Hat”.

The Pats were down 1-0 after one, but the Tigers outshot Regina 18-1 in the second, adding two more goals for 3-0 lead headed into the third period. The Tigers would add four more goals in the third, two of them late.

Andrew Basha led the way for the Tigers with four goals.

After rattling off six wins in a row, Regina now finds itself winless in four games, something the team hopes to turn around on Wednesday when the Pats return to the friendly confines of the Brandt Centre to host Brandon.
