Former Rider Solomon Elimimian named a member of CFHOF Class of 2023

 

Former Saskatchewan linebacker Solomon Elimimian will be one of the inductees of the  Canadian Football Hall of Fame (CFHOF) Class of 2023.

Joining Elimimian will be defensive end John Bowman, offensive lineman Josh Bourke and Lloyd Fairbanks, and defensive back Larry Crawford.

Former coach Jacques Dussault and the eighth Commissioner of the Canadian Football League, Larry Smith will be inducted in the Builders Category.

The media wing of the CFHOF  will induct sportswriter Vicki Hall, producer Jon Hynes, and the late Chris Schultz this November.

On Friday, September 15 the CFHOF class of 2023 will be officially inducted. The following day, the Hall of Fame Game will take place between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. There will be a special half-time feature for the newest inductees.

Elimimian played his final season with the Roughriders in 2019 after spending the first nine years of his career with the BC Lions.
