For country music fans in Saskatchewan, the time is ticking slowly down to 10 a.m.
That’s when tickets for the 34th annual Saskatchewan Country Music Awards go on sale.
The event is taking place June 10th and is one of the first major events to be held at Assiniboia’s Southland Co-Op.
A weekend-long festival will be taking place in Assiniboia related to the awards, including a kickoff cabaret by Washboard Union.

“(I)t’s an honour to be hosting this event in Assiniboia and all of southern Saskatchewan will be excited to have such an amazing list of country talent coming to perform in the Southland Co-op Centre,” said Assiniboia Civic Improvement Association president Curtis Nelson in a media release.
