Saturday, Regina police were sent to a residence on the 3000 block of Dewdney Avenue for a property check, with a male trespassing on a rental property.
When police arrived, they found drugs and firearms in plain sight, and a 27-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were arrested.
After a search further warrant, more ammunition and a substance they believe to be methamphetamine were discovered.
27-year-old Shayden Alexzander Thompson, and a 17-year-old who can’t be named under the youth criminal justice act., were both charged with drugs and firearms possession and both are appearing in provincial court today.
