The Regina Pats and Saskatoon Blades met three times in the final month of the Western Hockey League season and now their rivalry will carry over into April as the two teams open up the playoffs against each other.
Shortly after the two teams wrapped up their season series on Friday night, the dates for their first round matchup were announced.
The series will begin in the Bridge City with a pair of matchups on Friday, March 31 at 7:00, and Sunday, April 2 at 4:00.
620 CKRM will have with an extended edition of the pre-game show with Dante De Caria beginning at 6:10 on Friday for game one.
Regina will host games three and four on Tuesday, April 4 and Wednesday, April 5 at the Brandt Centre with 7:00 start times.
If necessary, on Good Friday, the series returns to Saskatoon for Game five at 7:00.
Game six would take place in the Queen City the following night.
Game seven if required, would see the Blades host the pivotal contest on Monday, April 10.
