SJHL is down to their final four

 

The semi-finals of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) will begin tonight in North Battleford and Humboldt.

The Battlefords North Stars will meet the Melfort Mustangs in one series. While the other matchup will see the Humboldt Broncos take on the Flin Flon Bombers.

After dropping Game 1, the North Stars battled back in their first-round matchup against Weyburn winning the next four games to advance to their matchup with the Mustangs.

Melfort beat the La Ronge Ice Wolves in their opening-round matchup in six games.

In the other series, the Broncos made it to the second round after they took care of the Nipawin Hawks in five games

Flin Flon came from a 3-2 deficit against the Estevan Bruins to move on to the second round, including a thrilling overtime Game 7 at the Whitney Forum.

The winners of the semi-finals will compete for the Canterra Seeds Cup.
