It could be a raucous day at City Hall in Regina.

As council convenes for its meeting this afternoon, councillors will run a gauntlet of protesters.

At noon, a group opposed to boundry changes to wards in the city will make their presence felt. The group feels this will give less of a voice to people who live downtown, and in the core neighbourhood.

Then at 1230, people who are less than thrilled with the whole “Experience Regina” situation will have their protest. They want the mayor and council to know how upset they are with that decision.

The decision to re-brand what used to be called “Tourism Regina” has been a lightning rod for protests since the new brand was launched.
