The CFL is continuing to make forays to the eastern reaches of Canada, to grow the game from coast to coast.

“Touchdown Atlantic” is set for July 29th in Halifax at St. Mary’s University.  Almost 11 thousand fans took in the game last year in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and the Canadian Football League is hoping for bigger and better this time around.

The game itself will feature a match up between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Toronto Argonauts.

“We couldn’t be more excited for football fans from across the country to join us in Halifax,” added Commissioner Ambrosie. “We’ll have an incredible weekend celebrating Canadian football like only the East Coast can.”

Tickets went on sale this morning through Ticketmaster.
