Families are invited out to the Government House for an Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny has the Government House on its list of places to visit this weekend.

“Put some spring in your step this holiday weekend by visiting Government House for their egg-cellent Easter Egg Hunt,” says Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission Don McMorris.

“Kids of all ages can enjoy traditional activities in this family-friendly public space while learning about Saskatchewan’s proud history.”

Two free-of-admission egg hunts will be happening this Saturday on April 8. The first one is at 10 a.m. to noon and the second one from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Children will receive an Easter basket to collect the plastic eggs. However, baskets are limited so feel free to bring your own.

Once finished, the egg hunters turn in their baskets of eggs to receive a chocolate treat.

The free Easter Egg Hunt will be held outdoors in the Edwardian Gardens but the hunt will be moved indoors if the weather is unfavourable. No registration is required.
