RPS needs public’s help in armed robbery investigation

The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in a robbery investigation that started on Saturday.

At roughly 1:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a robbery at a business in the 3000 block of Dewdney Avenue.

The report stated that a male suspect entered the business armed with a handgun.

The suspect stole some items and threatened staff with the handgun before taking off on foot. Nobody was physically injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as male, wearing a black sweater with white lettering on the front, a green hoodie with a green beaked ball cap, black pants with white markings on the left pant leg, and black shoes. The suspect was also wearing a face mask.
