With the Saskatchewan Roughrider season just around the corner, the football organization has announced the details of their home-opener on Friday, June 16.
To celebrate the Father Day’s weekend, Canadian rock icon Kim Mitchell will be performing at half-time of the Roughriders matchup against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Before the game begins, the Party in the Park kicks off the festivities at 4 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Wonderland as well there will be relay races, dad-themed trivia, alumni appearances and the inaugural Roughrider Cornhole tournament.
The first 5,000 dads at the game will get a free Roughrider cap as a bonus Father’s Day gift.
Tickets for the home-opener go on sale on April 24.
