Sask signs agreement to improve movement of goods to market

Saskatchewan has signed a memorandum of understanding with Manitoba and Alberta, to move Saskatchewan farm and manufactured products more efficiently.

The 3 provinces will work together to improve inter-provincial highway and rail networks, and harmonize regulations to support businesses, industries, and shippers, to keep their respective economies competitive.

They will also call on the federal government to provide infrastructure funding and solutions to the national supply chain.

In 2021, Saskatchewan exported $37-billion in goods.
