Pats Tanner Howe to compete for Canada at IIHF U18 World Championships

 

Regina Pats forward Tanner Howe will be heading to Sweden from April 20-30 as he will be competing in the IIHF U18 World  Championships.

This will mark the fourth time the 17-year-old will represent Canada in international competitions.  He participated in their Under-17 tournament in 2021 and played for Canada at the Under-18’s in Germany last spring and at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup in August.

Howe established career-highs with 36 goals, 49 assists and 85 points in 67 games with the Pats this past season.

The head coach for Team Canada at the upcoming U18 World Hockey Championships is Jeff Truitt from the Prince Albert Raiders.
