A 14-year-old was charged with assault with a weapon after an incident Saturday night in the 1800 block of Lorne Street.
Police arrived at 7:20 p.m. for a report of a stabbing, and found a male victim with a stab wound in his leg.
He was taken to hospital.
Patrol members learned the victim and another male were walking in the area and were approached by a group of people acting aggressively
A 14-year-old male youth was tracked down charged with assault with a weapon and will make his first appearance on the charge in Regina provincial court May 29th.
The police are also asking that if anyone saw this incident, to come forward and call Regina police or Crimestoppers.
