Police are at the scene of a grisly discovery this morning.

A body was found at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Elphinstone Street.

Earlier this morning the street was closed and has since reopened as the RPS Major Crimes Unit conducts an investigation.

The dead is an adult male – no other details have been released.
