After an opening loss to Sweden, Canada rebounded with a 8-0 victory against Germany at the IIHF U18 Championships in Switzerland.

Former Regina Pat draft pick, Matthew Wood (2020 2nd round), had a pair of goals to lead the Canadian scoring charge. Canada had four power play goals in the win.

With the win, Canada record is 1-1.

Canada next game is on Sunday when they meet Slovakia.
