2023 schedule released for the University of Regina Rams

 

The 2023 schedule for the University of Regina Rams football team has been announced.

It will begin with an exhibition game on Thursday, August 24 at Mosaic Stadium against the University of Manitoba Bisons.

On Friday, September 1, the Rams will open up their season on home turf as they welcome the UBC Thunderbirds in a rematch of last year’s playoff matchup.

The first provincial matchup between the Rams and University of Saskatchewan Huskies will take place in Saskatoon a week later on September 8.

Regina will host Calgary on Saturday, September 16 before a pair of road games against Manitoba and Alberta.

After the Thanksgiving break, the Rams will with a home game against Manitoba on October 14.

To conclude the season, Regina will visit UBC on October 21 and then wrap up the regular season on home turf against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

The Canada West semi-finals will begin the playoffs on November 4, with Hardy Cup taking place on November 11.

The conference champion will host the Mitchell Bowl game against the  Atlantic University Sport champion, and the winner of that contest advances to the 58th Vanier Cup set for Saturday, Nov. 25 in Kingston, Ont.
