Although it’s been a long off-season, we’re closer to the CFL season than you might think.
Next Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Rider Nation is being invited back into Mosaic Stadium for the first time this season to help welcome the team back just before training camp.
At 1:15 p.m., Play 92’s Mark Johnston will interview QBs Trevor Harris, Mason Fine and Shea Patterson, as well as receivers Jake Weineke and Shawn Bane, Jr.
There will also be appearances from the 620 CKRM Rider Pep Band, the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team and Gainer and Gopher.
There will be some family fun on the field with inflatables, a field goal kicking station, face painting and interactive games. 80s pop and rock cover band Dangerous Cheese will perform twice.
Free parking is available at the south side of the parking lot of the Brandt Centre.
