Riders sign former NFL DL Bryan Cox Jr.

 

 

The Saskatchewan Roughriders added some experience to their defensive line with the signing of Bryan Cox Jr.

Cox Jr. (6’3-270) spent six seasons in the National Football League(NFL) after signing with the Carolina Panthers after the 2017 NFL Draft. He would go on to spend time with Cleveland Browns (2019), the Buffalo Bills (2020-21), and the Indianapolis Colts (2022).

The former Florida Gator played action in 26 NFL games, recording 31 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery.

His father, Bryan Cox was a three-time Pro Bowl linebacker and enjoyed a successful career with the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints.
