Saskatchewan’s Lieutenant Governor has meeting with King Charles

In a media release from the province – we learned of Saskatchewan’s Lieutenant Governor had an audience with King Charles today.

Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty and Donna Mirasty had the privilege of meeting with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.

During the meeting, King Charles was presented with a magnificent beaded medallion, skillfully crafted by a talented artisan from the Lac LaRonge Indian band.

In addition to the heartfelt gift, Lieutenant Governor Mirasty and Mrs. Mirasty took the opportunity to discuss a significant contribution being made to the Embracing Life Initiative in the King’s name. This remarkable initiative is dedicated to combating self-harm and reducing the alarming rates of suicide among the youth of Northern Saskatchewan.

The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Mirasty expressed their sincere gratitude to King Charles III for his support and interest in this important cause. By highlighting the Embracing Life Initiative, they hope to raise awareness and encourage further collaboration to address the pressing issue of youth mental health in the region.
