Three people will be receiving honorary degrees from the University of Regina at their spring 2023 convocation next month.
Snowboarding Olympic medalist Mark McMorris will receive an honorary doctor of Laws, author Gloria Mehlmann will receive an honorary doctor of letters, and former Arizona Coyotes team president Gary Drummond will receive a doctor of laws.
Degrees are awarded as recognition for contributions to the University of Regina or the broader community.
Convocation goes from June 14-16 in the gymnasium at the Centre for Kinesiology and Health Studies.
