Death investigation, now a homicide

The Regina Police Service is saying an investigation into a sudden death is now an active homicide case.

On Saturday afternoon police were called out to the Glen Elm Trailer Court near Ring Road and Victoria Avenue East.

The initial call was for an injured person.  Police and EMS arrived, but the person was pronounced dead.

The person who died was a 40 year old man from Regina, but police are not releasing the person’s name, but police do say next of kin have been notified.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service and the Regina Police Service are running the investigation.  Police ask anyone with information about this person’s death to give them a call.
