Its been a long time since the faithful have been able to flock to the first city of the CFL and take in a Riders game at Mosaic.

That long wait is almost over.

Saturday, 620 CKRM and the “Roughrider Radio Network” will broadcast the first pre-season game of the year as the Roughriders play host to the BC Lions.

While the Riders have some decisions to make about their roster for the 2023 Season, Harvard Media has their roster set, and ready to go.

It all starts with “Countdown to Kickoff”, three hours before gametime.  This two hour pre-game show is hosted by Daniella Ponticelli, along with Wes Cates and Don Hewitt and will bring you all the news, stats and story lines before the game. It also has special features like “In the Trenches” with Eddie Steel, “Where are they Now?” with Glen Suitor, “Moving the Chains” with Jeff Fairholm, “Kicking It”, a look at special teams with Riders kicker Brett Lauther and Luc Mullinder has “Mullinder’s Match-Up”, looking at one key matchup in the game and many more features and interviews to get you set for kick off.

One hour before game time is “The Rider Nation Pregame Show”.  Hosted by “The Voice of the Riders” Michael Ball and colour analyst Luc Mullinder to get you set for the opening kick off along with interviews with Glen Suitor and Rider’s Coach Craig Dickenson, as well as the coach of the opposition.

During the game  you will get updates from the sidelines with Daniella Ponticelli.

At Halftime, you get all the stuff you need to know about the game from stats to big plays with “The Halftime Huddle” hosted by Pete Paczko.

After the final whistle, comes the “5th Quarter” with Michael Ball and Luc Mullinder breaking down the game, along with key interviews from coaches and players.

Then Rider fans get their say on two hour long “SportsCage Radio Roundtable”.

Its a full day of feasting for Rider Nation on 620CKRM and the “Roughrider Radio Network”.
