The first pre-season game is in the books, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders are continuing to make changes to the roster for the next pre season game, and of course the start of the regular season.
The Riders announced their have signed offensive lineman Adonis Boone and American wide receiver Isaiah McKoy.
According to a release from the team, the 6 foot 5 Boone hails from Florida was recently in camp with the New Orleans Saints of the NFL in their rookie camp. Boone spent five years at the University of Louisville
McKoy is a six foot two receiver who got into a couple of pre season games for the Pittsburgh Steelers before landing on the practice roster of the Indianapolis Colts. Mckoy is from Brooklyn, New York and went to Kent State University where he played in 26 games over three years. He finished his career ranked second in school history in touchdown receptions, fifth in receiving yards and sixth in receptions.
To make roster room, the Riders have put National defensive back Godfrey Onyeka on the injured list and released American defensive back Kendarius Webster.
