The re-construction is complete, and the new look “Wascana Pool” will open to the public next week.

Mayor Sandra Masters says this was possible because of work done, by all three levels of government.

“We are going to have a fully accessible outdoor pool that is in the jewel of our city, Wascana Park.” Masters Says.

The pool is accessible for those with disabilities, with the main feature, an elevator to the top of the water slide being installed soon.

There is a beach, leisure pool, lazy river, lap pool with a diving tank, hot tub and a climbing wall.

The project cost 16.4 million dollars.
