A “Severe Thunderstorm Watch” is in effect.
That means that the conditions are ripe for these types of storms to happen, but it isn’t a sure thing.
Another round of punishing storms passed through places like Regina and Moose Jaw last night. Some under passes were briefly flooded by a deluge of rain, but by this morning, most areas were dried out.
The “Severe Thunderstorm Watch” includes Regina east to the Manitoba border, including Indian Head, Yorkton, Mellville, Weyburn, Estevan and Carlyle.
West of Regina there are no weather warnings, at least not yet.
