Police are investigating the death of a 32 year old woman in North Battleford.

Friday night the RCMP were called out to a home in the 1400 block of 114th Street after getting a report of an injured person.  The officers who responded provided what medical assistance they could until EMS arrived, but Kaylee Crookedneck of the Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation, died at the scene.

The RCMP have released her name in the hopes of furthering this investigation.  Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, The Prince Albert RCMP, North Battleford Municipal Police, Provincial RCMP General Investigation Section, Forensic Identification Services and the Saskatchewan Coroners service are involved in the investigation.
