Former Regina Pats defenceman Ryker Evans and Coachella Valley Firebirds were defeated by the Hershey Bears 3-2 in overtime of Game 7 of Calder Cup Finals.
The Firebirds jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Bears staged their comeback. Garrett Pilon scored the winning-goal for the Bears
Evans opened up the scoring with the game’s icebreaker.

The Seattle Kraken prospect had 26 points (5G-21A) for Coachella Valley during the playoffs, in the regular season Evans picked up 41 points (6G-38A) in his rookie season.
Evans spent four seasons in Regina with the Pats (2018-22).
