City says abandoned e-scooters are vendors responsibility

Regina residents are noticing abandoned e-scooters throughout the city.

The City of Regina says that if you see an abandoned or improperly parked e-scooter, report the occurrence directly to the e-scooter vendor.

“As part of permit requirements, vendors are responsible for the collection of abandoned e-scooters in our city,” the city said. Issues or concerns should be reported to the appropriate e-scooter vendor.”

The City has two vendors, BIRD (the blue and grey e-scooters) and Neuron (the orange e-scooters).

It was earlier this week that the City launched its first e-scooter program, with a total of 500 e-scooters available throughout the city.

Contact information for both vendors is issued below:

Bird – Phone: 1-866-205-8448 or email at [email protected]

Neuron – Phone – 1-866-500-6002 or email [email protected]
