The Regina Red Sox opened up their stay with 4-0 loss to the Sylvan Lake Gulls.

Right fielder Anthony Sharkas had three of the six Red Sox hits on the night.

Kade Douglas pitched 5.2 scoreless innings in relief for Regina. Trevor Crawford took the loss.

Regina will wrap up their road trip with one more matchup in Sylvan Lake tonight.

The Red Sox will return home for a Sunday doubleheader against the Moose Jaw Miller Express at Currie Field.

Regina currently trails Moose Jaw by ten games for top spot in the Eastern Division.
